ABOUT US

The Wireless Broadband & Networking (WiBNet) Research Group, formerly known as Broadband & Networking (BBNeT), was established in 2014 under the Centre of Telecommunication Research and Innovation (CeTRI). The group performs fundamental and translational academic research focusing on advanced wireless communication technology for disaster and emergency management systems. Our research addresses topics such as wireless communication and networking, the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless positioning, as well as communication protocols. Many of these subjects are critical in the development of efficient wireless disaster and emergency management systems. The research group aims to create strategic research outputs with long-lasting benefits for society and the economy.
